In Agder, and especially in Lista, they are very fond of American culture. They have some cool old swing tunes, and there is real drive in several of their reinlender tunes. Vegar therefore wrote this tune for the commissioned piece “Linjer” (“Lines”) that was performed at Farsund Folk Festival in 2020. The reinlender is dedicated to his goddaughter, who is fond of dancing, and her entire circle of friends. We hope Oda and everyone around her will dance like crazy to this tune.
